Is the Dune miniseries available on Netflix? The initial cut of the SyFy miniseries had a runtime of 265 minutes, and it is important to note there is also a director’s cut out there that comes in at 295 minutes in length. The three-part series first broadcasted on the SyFy channel on December 3, 2002, and has since been revered for being one of the long-running network’s highest related program’s ever to be released. There was also a 1984 feature film directed by David Lynch and an Emmy-winning miniseries called Frank Herbert’s Dune. The Dune movie starring Timothee Chalamet isn’t the first time the 1965 titular story has been adapted for the screen.
